Video tape yourself singing Aimee Mann’s new song “Freeway” and upload it to youtube at http://www.youtube.com/group/aimeemanncontest

Aimee, and SuperEgo records will pick their favorite entry and it will be considered for a feature slot in YouTube's music category and on aimeemann.com, and the winner will have an opportunity to sing with Aimee at one of her upcoming shows.

By submitting a video you are agreeing to have your video shown on youtube, aimeemann.com, and broadcast affiliates.  Video will be judged on quality, and originality. The winner will have an opportunity to sing with Aimee Mann during one of Aimee Mann’s concerts promoting “@#%&*! Smilers.”  The winner will receive an autographed CD and will be provided with a pair of tickets to the show of their choice on the upcoming tour; the winner is responsible for their own transportation and lodging , so please pick a concert that you will be able to attend. Ten runners-up will receive an autographed CD.

Some tips and guidelines for video submissions:

- Submissions should be received by July 7 2008. Winners will be notified shortly thereafter.

- You may chose to perfom the music yourself, but the backing track is availble at aimeemann.com/freewaycontest/freewayinst.mp3

- Submissions should only be for the Aimee Mann song “Freeway.”

- Please use only original material, as using copyrighted materials (clips from movies, TV, etc) will prevent us from using your video.

- Clips that are clearly not legitimate videos will be discarded.

- Make sure we can contact you about your video. Upload from your own YouTube account that you check messages on, or include contact info in your profile.

- Please don't submit multiple versions of the same video or very similar videos for several songs.
