Tori Amos also did this quite successfully with a couple of her tours (including MP3 and FLAC files). The only bad part about that is if you are a
collector that has to have everything it adds up to a lot of money.
I love the digital store and the idea in general. I bought the full rarities album and then a couple of songs in FLAC (Lullabye in CD quality
finally). I wish more artists would do this. It seems like it would be an easy way for them to make a buck (especially if they have large fan
bases). Cowboy Junkies have been doing this for years. Jill Sobule gives her rarities away (understandably not all artists can give their stuff
away).

Steve Forbert does a limited time give away, then compiles and sells a cd. I'm cool with that, as it says thanks to those who continue to stay
involved and offers a way for the occasional fan to get some rarities.

It is a mailing list that started back in 1996 and has gone few a few iterations since then. I have been the "owner" of the list since
around 2003. You can subscribe here mannlist The Welcome message includes more info about it. I should probably update those messages a bit,
however.

Just wanted to say how much I love "Salvation", the newly released b-side to Smilers, and the sublime "Engine Driver".... one
of the many terrific covers that Aimee manages (IMO) to make better then the original. An achievement she's done before with "One",
"The Scientist" and "What The World Needs Now".
